The Good Mental Health Cooperative have organised 7 open dialogue events in Portsmouth called Mental Wealth Trialogues over the past two years. These are based on a model developed in northern Europe to bring together people with an interest in mental health, whether through lived experience, caring, or working professionally. Usually around 20 – 25 people attend, we record the themes raised in the discussion, and share these each time with influencers (politicians, commissioners and service providers). The feedback from participants is that they find the discussions inspiring and thought provoking.
The Partnership is supporting us to collate all the themes and key messages, and to publish a report which presents the findings. Our aim is to stimulate further debate about the future for mental health services and mentally healthy communities.
The art in the attached images is inspired by the themes raised in the Trialogue discussions.
